I WAS ALWAYS SCARED TO SPEAK

➽I WAS ALWAYS SCARED TO SPEAK IN PUBLIC⬌

Over the years I wouldn't have imagined I could ever be a public speaker. I have been a shy person throughout my days on the green land trying to copy one personnel or the other just to be among the main frontiers. Back then, at Ajayi Crowther Memorial Senior Grammar school, Akoka road, where I had my secondary school leaving certificate (WASSCE), I used to keep mute while my mates would do the talking except when it had gotten to tribal language stage, then, I would talk.
At a point in time I wouldn't dare stay among some vocabulary oriented friends when they chatted because they used to laugh out breeds like us and sent us home with ravishing abuses dropping like rain. Some would say it to our face then; YOU KNOW NOTHING. It would always be a sad experience such that whenever I remembered, I smiled sometimes and I burst into light tears having been in this position I am today . Hnnmm, MR. EGALITARIAN!
If you're destined to speak in life or to do something, no matter what, no matter how the condition may differs, no matter the time change and no matter the constraint ever experienced, what is meant to be will surely be. No man can precede the power of predestination; you can only try to shift the time, that's for the busy brains.

Looking back all the years I have been on earth, many things had happened. Some made me cry while others made me learnt a lot about this life. If life gives you a thousand ways to cry, give life millions of ways to smile again ( Dr. Busari). I have participated absolutely in all activities of life; I have a religion, I engage in extra curricula activities and I have been making positive impact on lives as my potential could take me. This life, the more you think you want to learn it, the more you get into trouble. Who doesn't make mistakes in life should signify please? We can't all be perfect but we can try to get closer to perfection in all we do.

I started attending programs, engaged myself in series of public speaking activities and events just to make sure that I conquered my fears and I was so committed, even more than a project student. What I noticed about the problem I had then was that I looked down on myself as a low gem, a retarded fellow; I lack the confidence to face even just two persons. I would always hide behind signs instead of smart talks with zero fear, and that’s what I want to shed some light on in a brief.

Fear, a disease that kills life directly or indirectly. Fear is a feeling induced by perceived danger or threat that occurs in certain types of organisms, which causes a change in metabolic and organ functions and ultimately a change in behavior, such as fleeing, hiding, or freezing from perceived traumatic events. Fear absorbs the technical ideas in a man’s confidential life when it comes to displaying variable skills with fellow humans or in a crowd of many. Fear consumes the mind quality and deteriorates the brain from normal thought about a great success, achievement, way forward, business orientation in varieties and other value added things of life. Cast out the fears in you and see how you transform into a better person in life.

I noticed I had been exhausted so far by fears of what I was more than in terms of speech, higher than in terms of exposure and greater than in terms of composure, but my inability to conquer my fears deluded my capabilities. Sometimes I tried to look into the mirror to practice some parts of speech construction so as to face my challenges with courage and be fulfilled for once, but I would always have myself to blame in the end because immediately I set my eyes on a set of people in discussion, not just ordinary discussions but wonderful and educative one at that, then the whole memorization would be casted away in no time by fears of what they might think of me if I tried to contribute or altered a word there.

Courage, confidence, commitment, competence and enthusiasm gave me an edge one day as I approached some set of people and engaged them in my Pre-degree school at Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta Institute on human resources development (INHURD), where we would balance religion in terms of debate and everybody would try to evaluate the best speaker. I regained myself from there such that the speaking strength rose to stardom within me. Wow, it was moments I shall never forget in my entire life.

But How Did I Finally End Up Being A Real Public Speaker?

Social media, as simple as that. I would always sit in the room with my dad and discuss several issues with him because he has always been there when it comes to my career. My father never chose for me, instead, he believes in what I set as a goal for myself. All he always wants in me is to be well educated and to be focused in all I do. He always borrowed from cooperative sector (IBTC pension) to make sure I paid my bills, and consistently he has been there. I also have my mother and the entire Ogunkayode breeds who have always contributed in form of words of encouragement. I started with Instagram video selfie, where I would give words of advice for just 14 seconds and people would like it, especially people from abroad; California, United State of America, London, England, Portugal, South Africa and of course my motherland, Nigeria. It prompted me to do more.

Because I love balancing situations and I don’t like cheating on others, I believe a lot in equality and I am an advocate of good leadership. I gave myself a name that goes in line with what everybody knows me for, which is equality among every human, and that brought about the name MR. EGALITARIAN. Because I have a world inside of me which motivates people directly or indirectly, hence, I summarized my first page as MR. EGALITARIAN WORLD MOTIVATES.   Facebook|Instagram|Twitter|LinkedIn|YouTube|Blog

Today, if you type the keywords MR. EGALITARIAN MOTIVATES on Google search engine, it will display all my media presence aforementioned. That enough gives me joy and a part of achievement in my being.

”Mr. Egalitarian has been invited to talk on behalf of the youths on developmental skills and academical challenges students are undergoing in various Nigerian institutions and also the power of entrepreneurship in the world of studentship today at various media and formal functions, in which FUNAAB radio 89.5fm was among the invitees. His love for the youths and human rights in every community, society and the world has always called the attention of people towards getting closer to their dreams through his delivered speeches.”

My Advice!

For whatsoever you want to do in life, do it with your mind, pray hard and concentrate with zero fears. People will hate you for who you want to be because they don’t have your kind of gift, but it is left to you to hold yourself together and pursue your dreams. People laughed at me at some point in time, I got tired of they say and I heard, I got humiliated, some told me to quit, it got boring at some point in time, they wanted me to do what they actually likened me for but not what I actually liked and passionate about. All in all, I won by listening to myself.

@Mr. Egalitarian World Motivates only one thing is definitely sure, you’ll surely be MOTIVATED!!!

CRISTIANO RONALDO IS A GREAT MENTOR.

PONDER IT TWICE: CRISTIANO RONALDO IS A GREAT MENTOR. When we talk of leadership and mentorship, it doesn't end at academics, politics, entertainment and the likes. The world of sports, especially football has produced exceptional leaders across the continents. From Madeira, a Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo Alveiro has demonstrated a great deal of leadership and mentorship with his indefatigable and astonishing performance in the world of football. This guy is amazing! Cr7 is a goal lord, a great example for hard work and commitment. In this guy I have learnt a lot of things viz; 1. Perseverance. 2. Commitment. 3. Courage. 4. Confidence. 9. Beliefs. 6. Competence. 7. Consistency. 8. Focus. 9. Determination and 10. Drive... Among others. When asked 3 years ago about the time he would stop football he said; when I can no longer play again. At age 33 he still scores 14 champions league goals in 9 champions league matches. He has demonstrated a go...

CUTTING THE HEAD IS NOT THE ANTIDOTE FOR HEADACHE.

RUNNING AWAY IS NOT THE SOLUTION BUT STAYING TO CORRECT THE ERROR!  It was great discussing solutions with these great people yesterday (Prof. Mrs. Ashimolowo, Mr. Babs Alabi and Mr. Mubarak) at Funaab radio 89.5fm, the sound of abundance. See video on Instagram @mr_egalitarianworldmotivates and also YouTube @ Mr. Egalitarian World Motivates...  There's one thing that is sure in this life, consistency can never be underrated, even if it is just selling some few commodities, with consistency you can go places. Dream big, follow your instinct, believe in yourself and pray in your way, so far you're talking to the one God.  This is just the result of consistency, yet, I have a lot to learn. Like I would always say; hard work works, working really hard is what successful people do. The decision is in your hands, either you want to be part of the "get rich quick" syndrome or you want to explore in the right way to stardom, you cut your coat according to you...

ETHNICITY DELUDES.

PONDER IT TWICE (ETHNICITY DELUDES).  it's a pity that some set of people are so much induced in #ethnicity, thereby making them weak in decision making.  Potentials and success know nothing about #ethnic behaviour, rather, they understand effectiveness and togetherness in making sure things are being done to levitate oneself in terms of #skills and #goals.  #Harnessing yourself in ethnic belief can also deprive you of a way forward in your career, and you may be regretting it in the end to have let it affected you. The belief of our ancestors in the primitive days immemorial is not so much applicable in the modern world. I called and tag this as #old fashion.   You have the skill to build a world which your tribe will benefit from and the whole world, but all you think of is what your ethnic group says. For example, making inventories, exposing them to modern techniques of doing certain things, they see it as depriving them of their reknown culture, but y...
