RUNNING AWAY IS NOT THE SOLUTION BUT STAYING TO CORRECT THE ERROR!
It was great discussing solutions with these great people yesterday (Prof. Mrs. Ashimolowo, Mr. Babs Alabi and Mr. Mubarak) at Funaab radio 89.5fm, the sound of abundance. See video on Instagram @mr_egalitarianworldmotivates and also YouTube @ Mr. Egalitarian World Motivates...
There's one thing that is sure in this life, consistency can never be underrated, even if it is just selling some few commodities, with consistency you can go places. Dream big, follow your instinct, believe in yourself and pray in your way, so far you're talking to the one God.
This is just the result of consistency, yet, I have a lot to learn. Like I would always say; hard work works, working really hard is what successful people do. The decision is in your hands, either you want to be part of the "get rich quick" syndrome or you want to explore in the right way to stardom, you cut your coat according to your cloth, and leave the rest to the one who calved you.
We take it from here; cutting the head is not the antidote for headache and headache happens for a reason. We all know that the country is in higgledy piggledy, but running away isn't the solution. If we all run away who's going to change or make the change to the menace militating us?
We know there are numerous problems everywhere, but do we need to contribute more to the problems? Solution, that's the word, the right word to ignite in this time of money quest through blood hunt and ritual inclination. If we duel not in the hunt, the hunt won't make any meaning.
Let's make our country Nigeria proud, let's levitate our culture, let's give the coming generation a hope to excel, to succeed and to resource. America is a great country, not because they are magician but because they are coordinated and united, they are always doing great and everybody wants to be in their cities to explore. We can be more of that, the way is IMPLEMENTATION.
The youth should stop saying Nigeria can not be great again, this had be a painful statement, a weakening speech that will always create a sour in my heart as a concerned Nigerian. To make it better, we all have a role to play. It is not magic, it is dedication and commitment to work that pays, it is love through togetherness and enthusiasm to make the change.
We Nigerians are good at talking, but implementation is what we lack. Ask yourself, as a youth, what has been and what will be my contribution to the development of Nigeria, what is my goal towards building a better society. Many have run overseas but what makes the difference, you'll still come back to rest one day, no place like home. I can't do it alone, but we are all indebted to making it greater, better and easier.
It begins with you, you and you. Lift it with all enthusiasm and happiness, then say "great is Nigeria."
I am Ogunkayode Kabiru Olaitan, Mr. Egalitarian, Nigeria's emerging public speaker and a youth advocate for developmental change.
Indefatigably, I hope for the best.
